A WAY FORWARD...

At times life can be unexpected. You may find that you have lost connection with others, you argue more, or have less time and not as much in common with people you used to shared interests with.

Perhaps you have lost trust in someone you have had a close relationship with, you feel hurt, betrayed or you just don't know what to do. Experiences like this can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be and you don't have to face these alone.

As a Counsellor and Psychotherapist my priority is to provide you with a supportive, safe and confidential space so you feel comfortable to talk about things that are on your mind.  Working alongside you, we can find ways to understand and address any difficult  issues you may be  dealing with.

This includes exploring solutions in response to your specific and immediate concerns, as well as supporting you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and others around you enabling you to move forward and work towards your desired change

About Me

Hi, my name is Renata, and for over 10 years I’ve helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled by one’s self.

In my private practice  as a Master qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist I work with individuals, couples and families helping them to learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of them moving forward.

How I Work

How I work is based on focusing on helping individuals, couples and families to unravel and understand their deep-rooted feelings. This will help us to find ways to move forward within a supportive environment. I work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings, values and beliefs and how these link to your past but also the choices you make in the present.

We will explore interactions between people, how you communicate and what influence the choices you make have on the relationships around you. This can be an effective approach especially  when someone experiences relationship difficulties and distress. Also, through self reflection we will look at alternative solutions to find new ways to support you in the future.

My main therapeutic modalities include Psychodynamic and Systemic but I also draw from many other models, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis and Expressive Therapies
